HIGHLIGHT STORY
Web3 FOMO Playbook: The Persona Blueprint For Creating a $5M NFT Drop
The Persona NFT collection recently sold over $5 million worth of NFTs very quickly. Before that, their campaign created a lot of hype and FOMO (fear of missing out) in the NFT world.

People were very excited about Persona, with some paying $1000 just to buy a whitelist spot and get early access. But it wasn't just luck that made Persona blow up. The team used smart strategies to get people hyped up.
What We Can Learn From the Persona NFT Launch
Here are some things they did that we can learn from:
1. Get Attention
The Persona team used promoters and alpha groups very early to tell people about the project. This got many eyes looking at Persona and helped spread the word. This early attention was an integral part of their early hype.
2. Build Excitement
They showed some of the NFT art and plans bit by bit over time. This got people interested in the full collection and wanting to know more. It created curiosity and excitement.
3. Get People Involved
Persona gave people fun things to do like puzzles and art contests related to their NFTs. Doing activities together gets people invested in the community.
4. Whitelist hunt
People who did quests in their Whitelist portal like following accounts or liking tweets could earn points, the more points the higher someone would be ranked. This rewarded people for helping spread the hype.
5. Onboarding Ambassadors
Big NFT names like MANI and NFTBoi were onboarded as the first ambassadors. They started talking about Persona and added more eyes to the project. When popular people endorse something, it reaches more people.
6. Use Marketing Experts
Persona hired Leon from Unfungible to help with the go-to-market strategy. Marketing pros like these guys know how to create buzz.
7. Host Spaces
Starting from January Persona’s strategy was primarily dominated by hosting spaces with known brands like wale. This lets more people hear about and discuss Persona.
Conclusion
The Persona team used a lot of great strategies to get people excited about their NFT drop. Even though they had cool art, their smart marketing made the launch a big success.
Other NFT projects can learn a lot from what Persona did to create so much hype and FOMO. Using similar strategies could help other new collections sell out fast too. The Persona playbook shows important tips for any big NFT launch.
